Preamble

The OBJECTORS TO GROWTH INTERNATIONAL (OTGI) is an international organisation of Objectors To Growth political movements and parties which, through its statement of principles and action, is related to the principles of the Economic De-Growth for Ecological Sustainability and Social Equity set up in Paris the 18 and 19 April 2008.

The OBJECTORS TO GROWTH INTERNATIONAL (OTGI) is establishing to build and improve strong and active international Objectors To Growth structures.OTGI will be officially founded during its first international congress of the Objectors To Growth political movements and parties. The promoting Objectors To Growth political movements and parties will launch this congress soon.

The political movements and parties associated with the OTGI believe that such an organisation is necessary to co-ordinate their international work and efficiently co-operate towards their mutual aims.

To further improve the quality of exchange and co-operation, OTGI also keeps close contact with other Objectors To Growth organisations.

The principles of work within OTGI are that of federalism, free arrangement and mutual aid. To improve co-ordination and communication within OTGI, as well as to provide an open contact address for the public and other Objectors To Growth organisations, an International Secretariat is setting up.
